Specialising for over 30 years in the Gas industry, Sloans Gas Energy Centre have a vast knowledge and expertise on all domestic gas appliances. From fires and fireplaces to gas tumble dryers, cookers, hobs and ovens, even barbecues and patio heaters as well as portable gas heaters you'll find the right product for you at Sloans Gas Energy Centre.

The challenge was to deliver a responsive eCommerce website that showcases the entire Sloan's product range and drives sales online. The website needed to have an engaging design to make it easier for customers to make an order. It also needed to handle large volumes of traffic and sales especially during peak sales times.

A series of UX workshops were setup in which I included a select list of key customers and these were focused on the target audience. All information from the workshops was distilled and included in the final solution.

Wireframes and prototypes played a major role when planning the user journey; this allowed me to rapidly wireframe the structure of the site through to prototypes. One of the biggest benefits of prototypes is that they provided an intuitive, quick and easy way to get my ideas in front of key client stakeholders, which they can also use internally. All wireframes and prototypes were hosted with inVision, allowing stakeholders to view the current state any any given time.
